I hired Total Home Renovations to do an insurance job for me. My laundry room flooded which damaged the hardwood floor on the main floor as well as the ceiling and flooring in the rec room in the basement. Total Home Renovations was meticulous in the clean-up and removal of the water. They worked so as not to disturb the household and finished on schedule which was very important to me. I liked their work so much I extended the contract and had them replace my carpeted stairwell and upstairs hallway with hardwood for a very fair price. The did a fantastic job of matching the stain of the stair treads to the hardwood flooring. I absolutely loved the end product! I would highly recommend them for any home renovation job.

Fred took on a near impossible task of fully redoing a 100 year old bathroom with a floor 3 inches lower on one side and the original warped floor boards underneath. I was plagued with minor leaks and improper drainage for years. Fred was open to any new ideas I had and guided me through the entire redesign process with an elegant and modern layout. With his expertise and workmanship I now have a historic bathroom with a contemporary design I would've never dreamed of in an older home.
Top to bottom the project included ripping out the existing floor, levelling and reinforcing a new floor from scratch, rerouting and installing electrical and new plumbing, install new and reinforcing existing walls, plastering, painting, in floor heating, porcelain tile throughout and new glass shower with tiled walls.
We even added the extra challenge of exposing and restoring an original brick chimney that was hidden and covered in over 100 years worth of wallpaper and plaster.
No matter how difficult the task or unique the challenge Fred with his diverse knowledge has no fear and always comes up with a solution.
